The Archaeological Research Laboratory is located in Room 237 of the Middlebrook Building
(5723 Middlebrook Pike).
The Laboratory is best reached by either:
- Traveling west on Middlebrook Pike. We are about 5 miles west of the UT campus.
or
- Exit I-40 at Papermill (exit 383), take Papermill Dr. west to Weisgarber Rd. Turn right (north) on Weisgarber Rd.
Travel about 0.75 miles until you reach Middlebrook Pike. Turn right (east) on Middlebrook Pike, travel about 0.25 miles,
the Middlebrook Building will be on the left-hand side of the road-- immediately past a railroad crossing.
Directions to our laboratory:
We are in Room 237, on the second floor. We are located on the west end of the building, which is most easily accessible from
the (small) west parking lot.
If you park in the west parking lot, enter the door to the right of the loading docks. Walk straight ahead to a set of double doors. Enter
(you are now in our lab-- the main office is upstairs) and proceed down the hallway to a stairwell. Walk up the stairs
and through the door at the top. We are the first door on the right.
If you park in the (large) east parking lot, enter the building through the door on the right of a concrete dividing wall
under a line of trees. The door is just to the to the left of the loading docks. Walk down the hallway and through the door
at the end.
Straight ahead is a very large door. Walk down the hallway to the right of the very large door. Enter the last set of
double doors on the right. You are now in our lab the main office is upstairs. Proceed down the hallway to a stairwell.
Walk up the stairs and through the door at the top. We are the first door on the right.
